Happy Halloween!
Ah...Tonight's going to be awesome! Trick or Treating in a new neighborhood can be very exciting when you've gone Trick or Treating in the same place your entire life. Yes, I'm 15 and I'm still going Trick or Treating. Problem?
I'm short. I get mistaken for an 11 year old; I think I can get away with it. :)
Anyway, I don't think I've said what I'm going to be yet...Well; I’m going as a "Hogwarts Student" with a wand and a Nimbus 2000. What now? I think I'm ready to kick some Death Eater butt!
Now enough about Halloween, I think I should explain the second half of my title (the "restoring sanity" part). Yesterday, some of you might have heard that political comedians John Stewart and Stephen Colbert got together a rally in Washington DC to kind of protest the Tea Party. My mom and I got to go. :D
For something that was trying to restore sanity it was pretty insane...The amount of people I mean. There were sooo many people from all over the country just to come and listen to two comedians talk about America. Most of the time we couldn't hear anything but that's okay, we read signs. There were tons of them. Most of them didn't really mean anything, they were just funny signs. A lot of people dressed up in costume, I found Waldo about ten times. There were so many different types of people, Democrats and Republicans alike, all in one place agreeing on one thing: We need to restore sanity, because the Tea Party is insane

Like I said, most of the signs didn't make sense; they were just there to be silly and funny... But this one is just makes me laugh. :) |
