I fail at drawing mythological creatures.

My failed attempt at drawing a Hydra:

I didn't even bother shading...Drawing is not something I'm particularly good at.

As you can see, I only managed to get one of the heads decent; if you could see the others you'd understand. Plus, It ended up looking too cute. I mean, look at it! It could be Figment's cousin.

Moving on now...Sunday was my mother's birthday, we spent the evening at my grandparent's house. It was really nice. :]

On the ride home I got a phone call.

Before I tell you about the call you should know we were trying to make it back for the Golden Globes. Chris Colfer was nominated for "BEST PERFORMANCE BY AN ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE IN A SERIES, MINI-SERIES OR MOTION PICTURE" for his performance as Kurt Hummel in Glee.

Anyway, we were rushing home to watch the Golden Globes and Maya called me. She told me that Chris had won. I was freaking out. She described the whole thing and then I just started bawling.

Once I got home I watched the moment on Youtube and cried some more. He was so shocked! It was adorable. I felt like a proud mama.

So yeah...that's pretty much it. I could continue and ramble about how the Pokemon theme song is stuck in my head and that I've been singing it non stop for the last 4 days...but I won't.
